Learning how to draw, paint, cartoon and illustrate is more fun than a barrel full of monkey's. But there are a couple of things you should keep in mind. First- everyone learns artistic skills at different rates. There is lots to learn and a lifetime to practice and improve your skills. Hi everyone, I'm William, of the story: "William's Wish".
And I'm here to help teach you to become an artist. But more importantly, to have lots of fun. Are you ready to get started?
HELPFUL SUGGESTION
Most of the lesson plans are based on elements found in the book, "William's Wish." Owning a copy of the book will help both you the teacher / parent and the child / children, to understand and easily follow the lesson plans.
There Are Many Mediums To Choose From & Trying Them All Is Fun
What Is a Medium? A Medium is the materials you use to create your art. Here are a few examples of Mediums: Finger Paint on colored paper; Pencil & Paper; Pen & Ink on cold press board; Water Color painting; Oil Painting on Canvas; Crayolas & paper; Paper cut-outs glued on colored paper; Liquid Coloring Pens on paper, just to mention a few examples. A medium can also include the use of papier- mache, clay,and the use of ceramics.
The most current medium is the use of computer generated graphics.
