Early Learning | Ages 4 - 6
"Raindeer Games" is an excellent first project in that it teaches artistic fundamentals. Children need to know that they can be artistically creative and this project takes them step by step to not only completing a project but also teaching them just how much fun art class and the creative process can be.
There Are Many Mediums To Choose From & Trying Them All Is Fun
What Is a Medium? A Medium is the materials you use to create your art. Here are a few examples of Mediums: Finger Paint on colored paper; Pencil & Paper; Pen & Ink on cold press board; Water Color painting; Oil Painting on Canvas; Crayolas & paper; Paper cut-outs glued on colored paper; Liquid Coloring Pens on paper, just to mention a few examples. A medium can also include the use of papier- mache, clay,and the use of ceramics.
The most current medium is the use of computer generated graphics.

Most of the lesson plans are based on elements found in the book, "William's Wish." Owning a copy of the book will help both you the teacher / parent and the child / children, to understand and easily follow the lesson plans.

The "Learning Train" can be used to remember many things including historical dates and events and in chronological order.
The "Learning Train Challenge":
Each day before class the teacher can switch historical events, facts about those events and even dates of those events. It is up to the members of the class to spot the errors and correct them.
