The trick to drawing shrubs and bushes is don't get caught up in to much detail.  At a distance most shrubs and bushes look the same.   By creating a series of seven green leafy patters you have the elements for most any bush or shrub.  Please note that the centers are colored darker and as you move out to the outer leaves they turn from dark yellow to bright yellow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you make your bush or shrub start with the larger pattern then build the design from the outer edges towards the center.  As you overlap one design pattern onto another  you will notice your three dimensional shrub or bush will appear before your eyes.  Its not magic it's technique.
